St. Mary's Medical Center of Evansville is a 500-bed hospital serving Indiana's River City. It is the primary facility in regional St. Mary's Health System, which is in turn part of Ascension Health. The Evansville hospital provides emergency, trauma, diagnostic, surgical, and rehabilitative services, as well as specialized cancer, cardiac, orthopedic, and neurological services. With a total of some 750 physicians, St. Mary's Health System also includes St. Mary's Hospital for Women & Children (100 beds, adjacent to the main hospital) and St. Mary's Warrick (a 25-bed hospital in Boonville, Indiana), as well as specialty outpatient, surgical, cancer, and home health units in surrounding areas of southern Indiana.
