What do they want? Peace! When do they want it? Now! The Fund for Peace (FfP) is dedicated to preventing war around the world and ending the circumstances that lead to war. It promotes research, education, social justice, and respect for the principles of constitutional democracy. The group's focus included preventing conflicts, human rights, and regional responses to war. FfP publishes Innovations, a quarterly newsletter; Reality Check, a report on its "Regional Responses to Internal War Program"; and its human rights and business roundtable newsletter. Ralph Compton founded FfP in 1957 after his son was killed in WWII.
