British Precast is a trade body that promotes the precast concrete and masonry industry to the UK construction market. The federation disseminates information through its committees and task groups that represent major product groups and issues. Some of these include infrastructure, precast structures, architectural cladding, precast floors, roofing, concrete masonry, and hard landscape. The association has programs in public affairs, environment, health and safety, technical search, and standards development. British Precast is governed by a council of elected members and a smaller steering committee. Members of the association include Aggregate Industries (UK), Hanson Building Products, and Lafarge.
