Duke Street is not where royalty lives, but the company does seek majestic returns on its investments. The private equity firm invests primarily in established, mid-market businesses in France and England. It targets the business services and outsourcing, health care, leisure, financial services, and retail and consumer sectors. Duke Street has some E2 billion (about $3 billion) of equity funds under management. Investments include Accantia Health & Beauty, Burton's Foods, engineering firm Deloro Stellite, and yacht equipment and accessories supplier Navimo. It arranged to buy noodle restaurant chain Wagamama in 2011. Duke Street has offices in London and Paris.
