If you, like Tony Bennett, ever leave a body part in San Francisco, Grand Aire can get it back to you in a heartbeat. The air charter operator contracts for the transportation of cargo, packages, executives -- and even organ transplant teams. Major customers have included leading automakers and FedEx. Grand Aire operates through affiliates Grand Aire Express (cargo carrier) and Executive Aire Express (passenger carrier). The company also runs AireBuy, an online brokerage network that allows other North American charter carriers to bid for business. Grande Aire was founded in 1985 by CEO Katrina Cheema and her late husband, Tahir Cheema. The Cheema family still owns Grand Aire.
