Irn Bru maker AG Barr (BAG) was one of the big 'mid cap' risers on the FTSE 250, jumping 2.7% to 628.8p. And Scottish broadcaster STV Group (STVG) topped the FTSE Small Cap leaderboard, up 3.5% at 356.3p.
