Air Quality Pilot Project

We teamed up with the Environmental Defense Fund on a pilot project to measure air pollution in a few U.S. cities. The results of the initial pilot focus on the presence of methane—the second-largest greenhouse gas— and are one part of Google’s broader efforts to provide better access to information about the environment.
