“I’m surprised at how much of a difference AdWords has made, without much effort on my part.“

Antonio Ruiz de Conejo – owner

Dogs aside, AdWords is Antonio's best friend

More than 1,500 dogs have trotted and snuffled their way through the portals of Barcelona dog obedience school Conduct Can since 1988. The school also offers a kenneling service, has a website that sells electronic training collars and pet containment systems, and provides a service answering owners’ questions about their furry friends. Thanks in no small part to AdWords, the school enjoys an excellent reputation and a healthy canine customer base.

Owner Antonio Ruiz de Conejo started out by advertising his company in veterinary surgeries, pet shops and specialist magazines. But as the Internet increasingly became the first port of call for potential customers, he decided he was barking up the wrong tree. In 2008, he began using Google AdWords.

Today, Antonio is in no doubt that online advertising is the best way of achieving his marketing objectives. “I’m surprised at how much of a difference AdWords has made, without much effort on my part.” He is now thinking of placing additional ads to boost sales of electronic collars. Antonio is delighted with the results so far, and has every intention of continuing to use AdWords in the future.
